Editorial policy
How we produce content on Loftoria · Last updated: 11.08.2026
Who is behind this site
Loftoria is an independent platform for racing pigeon breeders, built and run in Romania. Editorial content is published under the responsibility of Catalin Andrei, who reviews and approves every article before it goes live.
We are not a media company and we do not have a newsroom. This page exists so you know exactly what you are reading and who stands behind it.
How our articles are produced
We use AI as a working tool — for research, structuring and drafting. We say so openly, because you deserve to know how a text came to be.
Topics come from what breeders actually ask, from specialist publications and from news in the sport. Sources are collected before anything is written.
The first draft is produced with the help of a language model, based on the documentation gathered at step 1. The draft is never the final text.
Every article is read, corrected and approved by a person before it is published. Nothing is published automatically. Drafts that do not hold up are rewritten or dropped.
What we do not do
- We do not publish veterinary advice. Articles about pigeon health describe generally accepted information and are not a substitute for a veterinarian's diagnosis. For a sick bird, see a vet.
- We do not invent results, statistics or quotes. If a figure has a source, the source is named.
- We do not publish paid articles disguised as editorial content.
Commercial interests, stated plainly
Loftoria sells GPS trackers for pigeons and runs a marketplace where breeders list birds and accessories. That is how the platform pays for itself.
When an article mentions a product we sell, we say so in the text. An article is never written for the sole purpose of selling something, and a commercial interest never changes what we state as fact.
Corrections
If you find an error — a wrong figure, an outdated recommendation, a misattributed source — write to us. We check it, and if you are right we correct the article and note the date of the change.

Updates
Articles are revised when information changes. The publication date and the last modified date are both shown on each article.
