3. Metal Mesh - Use galvanised mesh with 10x10 cm openings to ensure ventilation and protection against predators. This is an essential element, as pigeons are vulnerable to attacks from hawks or cats.

4. Roof - You can use fibre glass sheets or tiles. Tile roofs are more durable, but fibre glass allows for better interior lighting.
